Project Manager 3 (Design/Engineering) manages the development and implementation process of a company’s products and services. Coordinates departmental or cross-functional teams, focused on delivering new or upgrading existing products. Monitors the project from initiation through delivery including planning and directing schedules and monitoring budget/spending. Organizes cross-functional activities, ensuring completion of the project i.e. product on schedule and within budget constraints.

Education: Bachelor Degree on Engineering or Business
5+ years of experience working on NPI environment, or manufacturing for electronic industry
Knowledge on PCBA Manufacturing process
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Bilingual (Spanish/Malay) preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Project Lifecycle Management: Oversees all phases of NPI, from Kickoff to successful production launch, ensuring the product is "on time and on quality".
Cross-Functional Leadership: Coordinates with various internal teams (engineering, production, sales, quality, supply chain) and external EMS partners to ensure alignment and progress.
Risk & Issue Management: Identifies potential roadblocks, conducts risk assessments, and develops contingency plans to mitigate delays and unnecessary expenses.
Stakeholder Communication: Serves as a key point of contact, providing regular updates on project progress, risks, and financials to both internal stakeholders and EMS partners.
Key Qualifications:
Strong Project Management Skills: Expertise in planning, executing, and closing NPI projects, with proficiency in project management tools.
Technical Understanding: A high-level understanding of hardware (electronic, mechanical) and software development, and the NPI process in an EMS context.
Supply Chain Expertise: Familiarity with EMS/ODM/supplier models and experience in driving supply chain setup for new products.
Communication & Leadership: Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to effectively lead and influence cross-functional teams and customers.
Problem-Solving: Proven ability to analyze trade-offs, identify issues, and drive mitigation plans to keep projects on track.
Financial Acumen: Ability to monitor and manage project financial expenditures and understand cost-per-unit and profit factors.
