Production Supervisor
Job Purpose:
Oversee the production workflow of departments in Turtle Lake, WI. Manage manufacturing process to meet customer and company expectations and lead your team through changes required to improve our performance.
Nature of Duties:
Directly supervises team members to achieve company goals.
Instills a positive workplace culture to retain existing team.
Maintains team by recruiting and selecting new team members that fit a positive culture.
Develops personal growth plans for team and coordinates promotion paths for those wishing to advance.
Plans, monitors and appraises daily results
Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing our standards and regulations
Utilizes Key Performance Indices to make decisions
Collaborates with other departments on improvement efforts
Develops schedules, assigns work, implements productivity standards, resolves problems, and maintains work instructions
Controls expenses by managing processes to the bill of materials
Ensures product quality through training of team members and utilizes non-conforming material (NCMR’s) events to understand deficiencies in our processes and develops countermeasures to avoid a second instance of the problem
Leads improvement activities by identifying and implementing improvements
Contributes to facility 5S efforts by initiating projects and maintaining
Education and Experience:
High School or Equivalent Diploma
Previous manufacturing or related experience
Previous leadership experience and/or training is preferred
Basic computer skills are required
Strong time management, decision making, and communication skills
Action oriented with ability to work with minimal supervision
