Lead Industrial Engineer team members to work proactively on production bottleneck constraints, identifying losses, and coordinating continuous improvement activities using Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

Apply Six Sigma tools (e.g., DMAIC, Root Cause Analysis, SPC) to reduce defects, minimize process variability, and improve first-pass yield in electronic assemblies.

Drive the creation and maintenance of engineering standards, routings, and time studies where applicable.

Support capital projects by providing the data, capacity planning, and financial analysis to justify expenditures for new manufacturing equipment (e.g., SMT lines, testing fixtures).

Lead and coordinate the layout change approval process to optimize floor space while maintaining compliance with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) and cleanroom standards.

Support local and regional Industrial Engineering Managers with data, studies, and scenario evaluations.

Coach and develop the IE team in the application of Lean manufacturing principles (5S, Value Stream Mapping, Kanban).

Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related field.

6+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong preference for experience in Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS), Surface Mount Technology (SMT), or Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA).

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory or team lead capacity.

Six Sigma Green Belt certification required (Black Belt highly preferred).

Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) for facility layout planning.

Experience with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab) and ERP/MES systems (e.g., Oracle).

Excellent bilingual communication skills (English and Spanish), both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with local staff, regional management, and cross-functional teams.
