JOB PURPOSE:
We are looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager to join the microelectronics product development team to support the design, development and transfer to manufacturing of advanced microelectronic and advanced packaging solutions in line with customer needs and requirements. The position involves both leading and supporting projects across various development phases, from concept definition through to implementation into volume manufacturing.
NATURE OF DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide project leadership as part of a multidisciplinary development team providing engineering, design, and manufacturing solutions in microelectronic and advanced packaging products to meet customer specifications, requirements and markets (including: datacom, telecom, defense and aerospace, automotive, industrial and medical).
- Definition and tracking of product development project plans (resource & effort estimation) collaboratively with subject matter experts to deliver products meeting customer requirements, defining objectives, setting timelines, cost, resource assignments and risk mitigation.
- Apply financial acumen to ensure that project plans remain within budgetary constraints.
- Ensure that all project decisions are guided by the commercial terms and conditions of our customer's contract(s), and customer management including communication/engagement protocols, reporting procedures and documentation..
- Documentation and presentations for key stakeholders.
- Facilitate product design review meetings.
- Responsible for definition and execution of NPI activities, including, but not limited to supply chain management and qualification, ramp planning and scheduling, manufacturing readiness and product qualification.
- Support the business development and engineering teams in the creation and communication of customer program proposals in response to customer RFIs or RFQs.
- Some travel may be required.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of direct and relevant experience in Program Management and/or Product Development.
- Exceptional verbal and written skills; ability to distill complex program status and issues into concise updates for key stakeholders and customers.
- Understanding of the product development process, from concept design, NPI, through to volume manufacturing, including qualification.
- Experience analyzing project related data and utilization of standard project management tools and documentation and planning systems.
- Effective problem-solving skills and proven ability to work collaboratively with design teams and customers to resolve complex issues with novel solutions.
- Relevant experience in microelectronic components and advanced packaging technologies including related supply chains.
OTHER INFORMATION
- The compensation range for this position is $110,000 - $150,000 annually.
