Warehouse Manager

Purpose of this role:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Warehouse Manager to oversee our daily warehouse operations, manage inventory accuracy, and optimize overall logistics efficiency. In this role, you will lead the warehouse team, supervise the receiving, storage, and dispatching of goods, and enforce strict adherence to health and safety standards. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership and organizational skills, along with hands-on experience using modern Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). 

Main duties:

• Warehouse Operations: Supervise and streamline daily inbound, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping processes to ensure smooth and timely execution.

• Inventory Control & Accuracy: Maintain stock integrity through regular audits, cycle counts, and real-time system updates within the WMS.

• Process Optimization: Continuously improve warehouse layout, material flow, and operational productivity using continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, 5S).

• Team Leadership & Resource Planning: Manage, mentor, and schedule warehouse staff; delegate tasks, facilitate onboarding for new hires, and evaluate team performance.

• Health, Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict compliance with occupational health, fire safety, and environmental standards; ensure safe operation of material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, racking systems).

• Facility & Fleet Maintenance: Coordinate preventative maintenance and inspections for warehouse machinery, forklifts, and technical equipment.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with purchasing, transportation, customer service, and production teams to meet delivery deadlines and customer requirements.

• KPIs & Reporting: Track key performance indicators (e.g., order accuracy, cycle times, space utilization) and report performance metrics to senior leadership.

Skills, experiences:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or associate degree/vocational training in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.

• Experience: 3–5+ years of warehouse or logistics experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership, supervisory, or managerial role.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics). Strong command of Microsoft Excel.
